Feel new iPad safer with this pruchase

Pros: easy to apply & remove when needed, sturdy but liteweight
Cons: none yet

New to Apple products in general, iPads in particular, read numerous reviews how screen fragile & subject to breakage if not careful. Dont plan on taking into th e deep woeds but normal exposure risky enough, dont relish the expense of a replacement that can be avoided. Feel like I made a good buying decision with this case.

Pros: Super rugged, sturdy design, solid stand positions
Cons: Not smart cover compatible, no magnets

I carry this case everywhere without fear of it falling, because I know it can take it. The screen cover has plenty of give to absorb falls from most accidents. The stand feature is super sturdy and wont wobble on your lap or table when typing or tapping. While it has no magnets to make your iPad sleep, I think it is a pretty useless feature anyway, how hard is it to push the sleep button manually on this case its not hard at all. And no you cant put that floppy and not so smart cover on this case. This case will not leave scuffs on the back of your iPad like that smart cover will.

After using this case for 6 months, I have noticed zero wear and tear on it. Upon first impressions Some might find the rububerized backing a bit loose, but you will be glad it is the day you want to use a large accessory on the 30-pin dock. That looseness allows you to pull the rubberized backing away just enough to plug in a camera kit or even active stylus sensor.

Pros: Excellent fit, solid stand
Cons: Camera connection kit doesnt fit well with case

Ive had the Seidio Active case installed on my iPad2 since it was released and its held up really well. Looks like the day it was new. The plastic numbs that keep the hard cover on still fits tightly and the stand portion hasnt shown any signs of wear. The Active case itself feels VERY natural and provides a great amount of grip without adding a lot of bulk.

The only negative thing I can say about it is that the Apple Camera Connection Kit dongle does NOT stay firmly attached with the Active case on. Ive had a lot of issues transferring pictures and wind up having to partially remove the case any time I need to use the kit.
