Pros: Ive never had the keyboard battery run down before I chose to recharge.
Cons: No pen or stylus loophole.
I have had this product for over four months. I believe it just makes the iPad soooo much more versatile. The quality, fit and finish made me choose this product over better known brands. i have not been disappointed at all. It definitely increases the size and weight of the iPad, but I like the protection of the device and feel this makes it almost a notebook computer. It is certainly easier to travel with the iPad and the portfolio case. I love the way the keyboard magnetically holds to the case but is removable and adjustable for comfort. This works well on planes. I also like that the iPad (most of the time) will power down when the case is closed.
My only complaint is that while it was in the possession of my kids the were able to weaken the fold of the case that supports the iPad. It still works, but I need to adjust it a little at times. This is my reason for 4 vs. 5 stars. Perhaps, the section of the "pleather" that acts as the front cover and iPad support when unfolded could be a little stronger.
Overall, I would and have recommended this portfolio/keyboard to friends.
