Otter Box Commuter Series for iPhone 4

The Otter Box Commuter Case for iPhone 4 is a well constructed hard-shell case with a silicone layer underneath and screen protector. It provides a no-slip grip while keeping the thin iPhone 4 form factor we love.

The hardshell is pretty solid. The only way I could envision it breaking is if it was frozen to -30 degrees then smashed with a hammer. I seriously feel very secure with it.

Great Case

Pros: Great fit, piece of mind as far security is concern pretty colors
Cons: Screen protector

I bought the Defender was a little bulky so I got the Commuter. I am loving it. It protects your phone like a glove. The Commuter gives you the much needed security for such an expensive investment. The only drawback is that you should get 2 screen protectors, I got something on it which causes little bubbles.

Pros: Protects headphone jack and cable connection well, keeps the face from touching anything, slides into your pocket with ease.
Cons: The rubber dosent keep it from sliding around in the car, everything sticks to the rubber, tuner part is a little loose.

Great protection for the whole phone!

Silicone is terrible, get a Defender

Pros: I love the silicone inside and the hard outside
Cons: silicone doesnt fit right

I loved this case for my 3GS so i figured id get this one for my iPhone 4 as well. As it turns out its terrible. The silicone is way to loose under the home button and just kind of hangs out. The part that plugs into the charging point will not stay pushed in secure at all. Finally, the bottom of this case is not compatible with my Sik Pimp car adapter. I got the defender and it fits much better, the bottom plugs in and stays plugged in and my sik pimp works perfect!!

Pros: Nice design
Cons: Poor fitting silicon

Great design but the silicon feels like its been made a bit too big. Silicon feels loose and not secured properly, however it does feel like a very sturdy case.

The screen protector doesnt have a cut out for the front camera so Im not even going to bother with it.
