Case-Mate Barely There Case for iPhone 4

The TiPb store just got the new Case-Mate Barely There Case for iPhone 4 in stock, so I decided to take a quick look at it. As you�d expect by the name, it�s super thin and doesn�t add any perceivable bulk to iPhone 4. Same token, while it will protect against scrapes and bumps, there�s no padding to help you out in case of a high fall.

The finish is soft-touch but I don�t find it that to be a huge difference from iPhone 4 by itself. It included a screen protector so you can be covered front and back.

Im not really worried about dropping the phone per say. my biggest gripe is that the camera is not recessed and will get scratched. So the barely there is a good fit for me. Doesnt add any bulk to speak of and will keep the back/camera from getting scratched. Fits very well and snug, and gives a good hard rubbery grip. Very pleased with the product.

Around the house I often prefer a thin case for minimal protection and a backside surface that wont slide around like the iPhones glass back. This case fits that perfectly.

Just got this. Excellent fit on the phone, and a nice feel in the hand, not slippery. Super thin. It might not offer a lot of protection but it does offer some, and looks like it will protect the corners pretty well. With this on the Iphone 4 it is still not as big as my 3Gs naked. It covers most of the band so you dont have to worry about touching the mysterious "bad" spots on the phone. Makes the whole thing look black and sexy.

As the name suggests, this case maintains the slim look of the iphone. It does a good job of protecting the sides and back from scratches. The soft finish keeps the phone from sliding on slippery surfaces. Provides minimal impact protection.
