rugged but minimalist at the same time

Pros: good grip on the sides, open top and bottom for connectors
Cons: back is a little thicker than I think it needs to be

I got this case free with my iphone 4 at radio shack. It is rubberized plastick on the sides with bit of a grip pattern. The back is clear plastic with a cutout for the camara and flash. The top and bottom are completely open, so the iphone is really only encased by this case on the sides and back. The rubberized sides do extend a litte above the face of the iphone to provide a litte fall protection to the fron glass and they are rouned at the top and bottom for cover a litte of the coners for a fall also. It fits pretty well in my pocket and the rubberized plastic does not pick up lint like some of the others do.

this is garbage. bought my 1st case in februay 2012 and already the rubber grip molding was separating from the back plastic casing. was shipped a replacement and ONE DAY later the molding started to separate from the casing.even though its $7.dont bother.
